Listed my 09 busa on cycle trader this evening. An hour later some guy from Stockton, Ca gets a hold of me, we talk. He's coming Saturday to get it. I was asking $7900 and he asked if I would take $6800. Told him no more reductions no matter what he sees. Of course, I sent all the defect pics to him, so no surprises there. He told me there are hardly any Cali busas out there except late models for $13k up. I looked, sure enough, I could only find 3 pages of any busas in the 400-mile range of Los Angeles. Yall think the prices of our older bikes will go up because of the gen3 price? More than likely will. awe man, my avatar is that black bike. Need to change it now. I can smell my 2022 coming on that boat from Japan.

Yes gen 2 prices went up for sure all toys are through the roof flipped a few to pay for this puppy! Depending on mileage he got a great deal let alone Cali prices...13k for used gen 2 busa is crazy but that's the time we live in right now I'm in real estate and never seen anything like it! Never had a new motorcycle but can't wait to have that new rocket smell!

That man rides... 34k! That's what sold it saying adult driver that was smart... you did good at 6800 sir. Heck you have the best of both worlds right there!

I don't know about bike sales but home sales are nuts around here and I imagine everywhere...people aren't even getting signs put on their lawns and their houses are selling over list...

Motorcycles on the other hand sit around until you almost have to give them away. Insurance companies have priced bikes like the Hayabusa out of existence for most people.

Maryland here - Hayabusa selection was limited and the ones that were available sold quickly even if they were overpriced for its year. I called a few dealers to try and negotiate the price on used ones but they held firm and stated that bikes were being sold quickly. I got lucky with my purchase this year because it was a small dealership and the bike had only been listed on Facebook for a week.

....come to think of it, when I bought my bike at the dealership, it was in the back of my truck and someone asked me if I was selling it..I told I just bought it so probably not..

I could have sold it before I even rode it I guess...

Yes, around here too. My home price jumped $70k in 6 mos. Crazy. I'm not planning on selling. so higher property tax.

Are you talking about the Goldwing? If so, yes. 2010 with 9000 miles, can you believe it. I was going to ask for $10k
Sad to hear you are parting with the 'wing and you are asking the right price for a bike like that.....however, I was asking @WuzzaCBXRider if he is planning on selling his trusty steed...

Well I would think keeping at least one of the older bikes would be maybe a good idea?. It'll look classic along side your brand new bike in the garage.
