ok i think i understand your question...after thinking about it for a bit.
You're asking if the miles are VISIBLE or if the gauges need to be "plugged in" to see them. Yes they need to be Plugged In. Look at your bike with the key off and you'll see that you can't see the miles. But either way, I'm not selling the dash...keeping it...

SWINGARM.....I thought $200 was a fair price...never seen one that low. You want it with or without the shock?

Robino- what i was asking was if i place another dash on my busa will the miles remain the the same (distance) or will it reflect the distance that the previous bike had.. my insurance is trying to limit the amount of miles that I drive.
