We are always working on new ways to capture and release information to and for the members. One of the things that we always do when we go to the events is that we look over the bikes and compare what others have and then we talk about how much and where they got their mods. I thought that having that ability all the time would be good so we have added a new feature.

The Gargage will allow you to upload pictures of your bikes, tell a little bit of information about your bike, mods, color, year, special things about it.

If you want to compare dyno sheets or track or lap times you can browse through the ones other members have uploaded.

I think this will be a good place for the members to highlight their bikes and be able to scan easily across many others with mods they are looking for.

Give it a whirl and let me know if you see things that you might do differently.

You can access this new feature using the navbar at the top of the screen and clicking on the text that says "Garage".

I couldnt enter my dyno sheet.

kept telling me to enter all fields.

Is there a way to edit my service entries? Also, could we be more specific than major or minor service? Maybe just have a place to enter our own description of the service type?

And the category selection under Modifications. Again, maybe we could just fill something in here, or have a more comprehensive list in the drop-down box. I'm thinking aesthetics, comfort mods, and other random things.

I know comprehensive lists must be a pain, but it's just a thought.

Thanks for bringing us the Garage feature, Cap. :beerchug:

The comprehensive list will grow in time. You can submit an item and we will check and make sure they fit in the right areas. Over time there will be quite a list going... there are not a lot of pull down items because of very few entries.

Thanks Cap!! That's a cool idea--- my wife will appreciate you giving me more ideas and resources to spend all the money:rofl::laugh:

Thanks for the kind words folks...

At the end of this if people can upload the information about their bikes we can allow newer members to see what we have done and also let them see the vendors that we used to get the parts. We can pass on good information and we wouldn't have to post up every few months when asked over and over.. Not that asking is a bad thing it just makes sense to get this information out there where people can find it.

Appreciate your logic, Doug! Great idea and should work well for catagorizing vendor products, as well (if I understand the use of displaying where the user got parts from). Kudos, my friend! :beerchug:

looks good. It's going to take some time to get all the companies listed, added to the drop down catagories, etc. I've got a list that's 2 pages long that only covers parts on my bike alone.

I'm still trying to figure out how I should list my bearings (modifications). They're made by ACL I had them coated by Calico and were purchased through a third party. lol

I'm also not sure how to list my DIY mods. I'm sure as time marches on all of these little variables will fit in some where.

Hi Cap, I was adding some mods...after adding a few manufacturers it does populate them in the first manufacturer field, but you're not able to scroll down on the manufacturer field once you go into not listed for the part.

Also, I flubbed a time slip. Is there a delete option?

You show 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile...any plans to add land speed racing such as a mile (Maxton) or give the option to add like you do on the man/parts fields?

Thanks for the new there Captain~!~
