does anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket replacement plugs? or is it best to replace with oem? thanks ahead of time, james

for a stock motor use cr9e's, but depending on wat is done to the motor & what kind of fuel you use you could use cr10ek's which is a colder plug.

no it is not
Dual electrode is hoter than single
your funny, Cr9e or Cr9ek ( dual tip ) is a base plug, if you went to a cr8e or ek it would be hotter, cr10e or cr10ek is a colder plug, dual tip just puts a better spark pattern, & they do cost a bit more. do some home work, my friend

damm I guess I better unlearn everything I know.

Go buy a dyno and watch what happens to the A/F going from single to dual, and not adding fuel.
