Spark Plugs???

I have a 04 Busa and ever since i put yosh pipes on it(bolt ons) and blocked the pair valve off , it ran great for about 4 months (but since day one it has run real rich). If i hit the throttle to about 6-7000 rpms a few times it blows out a good bit of carbon and it runs fine for a day or so, then it goes back to running a little rough, so i bought a pc3 usb and loaded the map, no difference, i have 6300 miles on it, i am bringing it to the dealer next week to dyno it and set the pc3 , do you think i the plugs may be fouled out and i should change them before i bring it to the dyno? I am using the original plugs. Thanks Joey

P.s. it mainly runs rough in idle and low speed.

It's possible I would check them at least and you might as well replace them when you have it all opened up, it only $33 for a good set of plugs.

Ok here is another question, how hard is it to change the plugs myself and what is involved in doing it?

Thanks,Joey

You need to remove the tank, air box unless you can figure out how to get the air box out without removing the tank. You can do all this yourself it's not that hard just takes time. If you have someone to help with the tank it's easier specially if you have a full tank.

Just got done doing this about an hour ago. Lift the tank and put it on the prop rod. Pull airbox. Remove one spark plug cap at a time and remove/replace that plug. Repeat for all 4 plugs and you are done. Make sure you fully install the caps once new plug is back in. You will need an extension and a 5/8th deep well socket if you don't have a spark plug socket. All done.

for trial & error purpose's dyno first then make 1 change then dyno again to see difference.i would not get a dyno tune just yet untill you work out the bugs just get the 3 pulls for 50 bucks
