on my 03.i gained 49 hp when i put the 3mm bigbore kit in.but that is also with ported&shaved head,web cams.my hp was 157 stock and 206 after all the work.i dont see that much more gain without extra engine work with just the 3mm overbore kit.that would be around 65+hp with just pistons and tuning of pc.will be awesome as hell if that is all work done to the 08 to acheive those numbers.

My local dealer (in Plymouth, UK) texted me last night to say their engineering unit is offering a 500bhp turbo installation. Before you ask I have no information on price - or what it would do to engine reliability (!) or how anyone could get insured. But if anyone really wants to know - I'll see what I can find out at the weekend. I'm pretty sure it was not a joke...

I'm not really surprised considering what the old BUSA did and the addition of a 2mm stroke. Sounds right to me...

What's it going to do with a TURBO though....

I don't know about the Busa engines, but I used to build 1600 VW motors into 1835cc motors and it made a huge gain in power over a tire queaking stock bug. Thats 85mm to 92mm. I still have one if you know of somebody that needs one
