Recently heard there’s a slight difference if you want dual slip ons. Does anyone know exactly the measurements ? thanks and suggestions etc..

45 mm left pipe, 48 mm right pipe.

Most generation three exhaust have to be specific to your year for the diameters to match. Yoshimura makes the little S pipe for their Gen III kits that allows you to adapt generation II muffler slip on kits to the generation III but you need the two small S pipes to change the diameter specifications.

They do sell those individually.

I checked yoshimura sight and didn’t see the adapter kit. Is it out yet?

Call Don Franzen (909) 628-4722 ext 422. Call Don at Chino Yoshimura, he's my go to guy. Tell him what you're trying to do, and he will set you up with a pair of the S pipes for the generation three kits. And then you can bolt on any generation two slip on kit they have.

They are not on the website as an option, they would prefer you buy the generation three kits. If you like something from the generation two bikes, he has your part numbers for the adapters. Tell him you're a friend of Adams in Las Vegas.

Wow! I would kill for these pipes! Very beautiful! But in Germany they are not allowed, they do not meet the Euro 5 standard. A shame! I wouldn't want any other exhaust other than the Yoshi!

I'm with you there, not only do they really look good on the Gen 3, I'm also a fan of Yoshimura pipes above all the others out there...in my mind Yoshimura and Suzuki always went together like (in the day) Kerker and Kawasaki did...

My friend there I agreed with you. For me it belongs together. I don't understand why Suzuki suddenly teamed up with Akrapovic on Gen 3. I don't find Akra's pipes beautiful, nor do they sound good. And the price? It's absolutely laughable!
