Today my son competed at the Track and Field event for Special Olympics. He placed 4th in the 100M dash, 2nd in the softball throw and his relay team was 1st in the 4x100. He ran the first leg of the relay and opened up a sizeable lead that was never challenged. I don't understand how he ran so well on the relay, but didn't during the dash. Oh well, he had fun and that is what's important. Unfortunately, I had to work today but my wife went and was texting me with all the details and I would call and talk to him after each award ceremony.
I couldn't be more proud of him and wanted to share. I don't know if there were pictures, I forgot to ask my wife.
