Speed sensor wires

Happy holidays to all. I'm installing a "Back Off" module to my rear taillights. I need to know which of the three speed sensor wires is the positive, ground and speed sensor. The three wires are black/white, black/red, and black. I'm guessing black/white is ground and black is positive? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The back-off module shouldn't use any speed sensor wires. It uses the brake light wire. What exact model are you using?

Forgot to mention, mine is an 08.

It's the Back Off Brake Hold.

I stand corrected. It should be pin 6 at the ECU. Tap the Black/Green stipe wire for the speed signal. I didn't consider the BO Hold. I'm used to working with the BO XP and regular BO units.

Thanks for the info Tru. Before I read it I already did it a different way by guesswork. I was already accessing the speed sensor itself. In case anyone wants to know, if you need to tap into the speed sensor output on a k8 it's the black wire (which turns to pink on the other side of the plug).
