Speedo connection

Guys I havnt been able to get a manual just yet so if someone could tell me, is the speedo connection the connection that is in the middle of the front sproket cover? I changed my front sproket and the speedo still worked, but then while I was riding yesterday it just suddenly stoped working. Thanks for any help you can give.

Try KaZaA and search for "hayabusaservicemanual". I tried last night and it wasn't available, this morning it was.

It reads off the four pronged washer on the out side of the front sprocket,between the cover and the sprocket. When I changed sprockets I cut one off to lower my speedo.
