I asked this before and most people said they thought my speedo quit working because of the castle nut looking thing was broke. I took it apart and it looked fine. I think the sensor is bad. I need to get one and try it i guess. Any place to get one??
any crack/ chip/ etc in the tone wheel could cause erratic/ inoperable status, but if its ok its either the speed sensor, or a wiring issue, especially if the rest of the cluster is ok.
