Speedometer change

Those are simply dials for the gauges. They have no impact, other than appearance, on your speedo. If you got the 180 version your speedo would be off by as much as it is now. If you get the 220 version they will be off by some factor and won't be programmed to display anything above 180. In short, you have to get something (SpeedoHealer or Yellow Box) to correct for the error in your speedometer.
 
I put a 220 unit on my bike, mounted a 200 series tire, and its very close according to radar here.Havent checked with gps yet.
 
I have em glowing ones on Elenor... it makes your dash look good, but does nothing to make your speedo "accurate" ...

There are quite few threads on this if you look a bit. I just ordered a 220 MPH Reverse Indiglo for my '03 and a speedo healer to make it more accurate.
