Speedometer Swap Out

Hi Guys,
 I looked for a thread on this, but I didn't find anything.  I am thinking about keeping my bike naked this year and mounting up a single or double round headlight up front.  I am wondering if anyone has tried to swap their gauge pack from the large Hayabusa style to a smaller GSX-1000 style. I think it would look better with the front end bare.  I didn't know if anyone has tried to do this or if anyone has pinout for the two gauge packs.  I doubt I would get as luck as a plug-and-play operation.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

i know a guy that has done it i believe he said it was pretty much the same except 1 wire

I always liked the stock gauge, because at a quick glance I can see everything. Good luck though, and post up your results.
