How is engagement/disengament different between a cable and hydraulic?
Both push the clutch pushrod.
Hydraulic pressure makes one work, vs leverage with the cable and a spring in the sprocket cover to aid in the pusher's return.

The Hydraulic clutches tend to take less effort to use, and they push the pushrod as far as needed every time, so no slack as the clutch plates wear, which is why cable clutches need adjustment over time.
