hope to get some help from you guys..... ive been reading and am having trouble deciding. i want to get a lil more response out of my bike and am thinking a new rear sproket is the way. ive been to the drag strip a few times and enjoy that, but im mostly a weekend rider. bikes plenty fast as is but i want a lil more on the take off. i have factory sprokets now, tell me what i need to get to keep my highway speeds as high as possible and wheelie in first and second.

Front= leave stock
Rear= 42T

Add a new chain when changing out one or both sprockets.

42T rear will give you a little more top end than changing the front to a 16T (Keeping rear stock). Both give you a nice boost in the lower end, just different opinion's on which method is better. And get yourself a new chain when making the change.

No new chain needed with the 42 rear only!

Speaking of "take-off", I can not get a good hole shot on this bike!
I mean once my rear tire heats up, I can NOT crack the throttle off the line. She will stand up and growl at me. even with all my weight on the front handle bars(and I'm 215lbs).

Do I need a new rear tire?

TIA
