Ok ladies and gents,
This started today. It is a squeek in the front end. It sounds like brakes. 9750 miles on the bike. It doesn't do it when I apply the brakes and seems only to do it at slower speeds. I rode in the parking lot today w/o my bucket so I could hear it. Let my buddy ride it around so I could hear it from a different perspective. It doesn't do it all the time, but has something to do with rotation. It gets faster as the speed increases.

Any ideas?

Don

Hey usn04limited
Clean your rotors and caliper with brake cleaner and see if the noise is still there. make sure you spray up inside the caliper also .

To tell you the truth not to sure haven’t had to do that yet, but I would say put it up on a stand spin the wheel, first see if its grabbing anything if not grab the wheel see if there is any slop (movement) from side to side then maybe listen for noise, you could even pull them out and see if there is rough spots in the bearing while you spin them with your hand .to do that put your two fingers into the center of the bearing with the other hand turn it slowly ,if there is a rough spot you should be able to feel it in your finger tips .Some of the other guys might have a better way to do this also.

Don, if you have any play side to side in your front wheel...you have some issues that need tending to. Otherwise, you have so few miles on the bike, and you ride like a sissy so...., Im thinking your rotors are just dirty...clean em up, and inspect the pads to make sure a small pebble aint lodged in there and rubbing on the rotor. Silly Rabbit

I had a little squeeking in my front end a few weeks ago..........
It went away after a day. I think it was a small pebble or sand maybe. Try rolling backwards and applying the front brake on and off - it might dislodge it.
