I have Ohlins Superbike shock (it's length adjustable also) that came of my Yosh Superbike. My weight is 277 butt naked, and over 290 with gear. My best 60' is 1.63 and i'm altitude impaired 4400' actual and 7800 to 11000 corrected. i'm trying to get my 60's inlow 1.5s Thanks Jason.

personaly I would rather have a shock... it gives your more flexibility in tunning the chassis. With a strut you still have a rear suspension... tire flex

i have a bone stock shock that ive just adjusted the damping and the spring. the bike has been a 1.47 60' @ 63 1/2 inch wheel base. this thing squats and leaves like a champ.

it wasnt me riding. was a buddy of mine. he was in indy. stock motor. just all the bolt ons. down 1 on motor, full exh., pair and air box mod., fuel controller(not a pc3)air shifter.

I don't think a 1.63 60' is bad for 277lbs, i'm just trying to get faster. If anyone has info on how altitude affects your sixty i would be greatful. Thanks.

just my guess but im thinkin thats about the best your gunna get. im almost a 100 pounds litter than you and im right there with you on 60' ing the bike. just got it back though. its bben in indy for 3 months.

how do you have the damping set on your shock. mine is slams down fast but rebounds slow. this keeps the power/weight shifted to the rear tire.
