obviously the damper isnt adjustable-does it self adjust or is it like on just one setting??

More and faster pressure to the damper = more oil trying to get thru the valve = more steering dampening because it can't get thru as fast.

You can't adjust it, but you can put a heavier weight oil in the dampener. Look for posts in the modifications forum.

its just like the little thing on a screen door that doesn't let it slam.. same theory... don't let the bars slam back to and fro. and you'll have a better ride.

you can buy adjustable ones aftermarket.. but i've never had any probs with the factory seems to be a pretty decent setup for most riding I've done.

course i'm sure there are some guys that hafta change it for whatever reason.. course I think those are the same kinda guys that buy a carbon fiber front fender because they think it's going to make such a weight savings as to warrant the stupid look of it.

kinda like a unpainted hood on a civic.. just retarded.
