Stock Brake Pad Life

What is the average life of the stock pads?
Also do aftermarket pads such as EBC HH pads reduce the amount of brake dust that accumulates on the rear wheel? I can't believe how dirty that sucker gets after a couple hundred miles.

I have almost 5,000 miles and going strong. Use WD-40 to clean that wheel.

i switched mine out around 12k if i remember right for HH pads brakes felt much better

I have over 24K on my stock pads. It's all about how you ride...

I live in KS - don't need brakes much - just go straight for a while then downshift and tap the front brakes to stop!

I can prolly get another year outta them, but I think I'll change 'em this winter when I install the SS lines I have waiting...

Changed my fronts at 25,000 miles. Rear, I got 14,000 out of the stockers and then at 21,000 I had to change the EBC's because I effed up and installed them wrong. Then, at 28,000 I installed new EBC's which have lasted 14,000 and are ready to be changed again, however, I need a new rear rotor. Stupid of me.
