Stock Damper vs. After Market

I have 06 LE that comes with a Factory Steering Dampener. should i have this replaced with an after marker one. like a Scotts? Is there any need to have it replaced.

Not in my opinion...why mess with what's working...had mine to 185mph (indicated) and straight as an arrow NO shuttering/shimming!!! Gotta love it!!

ask your self these questions. do i need it. have i ever had tank slap coming hard out of a corner or during braking. do i have a butt load of cash burning a hole in my pocket. if you have a butt load of cash, can you get me a scotts w/ a mount? thanx.

If you feel you need better damper ,buy a used busa damper on ebay, pump out the stock oil, and replace it with 30w to 50w oil. About $20 + oil (maybe less).  You can go even higher in oil weight, but its not needed. This would be a good way to determine if you really need to replace the damper with an expensive one.

Or you could just replace the oil in your stock damper.............
