stock pegs

I,m getting ready to send the stock left peg to VA to replace the one that was broken on her uncles 08. Under the pegs there is a deal that sticks down, I call them feelers. There is one long one and a shorter one. I think the long one goes on the left side because of the kickstand, but I can't remember as I have had the TL pegs on for almost two years, and I didn't use the feelers on them. Can anyone tell me for sure which one goes on the left peg, the long or short one. Thanks, Hal

Are you trying to determine which peg is which, or are the feelers off of the pegs and you need to know which one to send along with the peg?

On my 06 the longer one is on the left side (sidestand side).

The feelers are off the pegs. Thats the first thing I did when I got it home. Then came the reflectors and stickers.

Thats what I figured. It made sence to me you would want the longer one on the kickstand side. Thanks for looking for me.
