my 08 hayabusa is stretched and lowered, I don't know if the rear fairing is going to rub and tuck under ,will turning the bolt to harden the shock keep the bike from destroy my fairing or is it for recoil. Look at my pics and let me know what cha think.:banghead:

if you're worried about the fender hitting I'd recommend raising it back up. I think stiffening the rear should keep it from hitting but it will also worsen the ride. I'm sure some guys with stretches will chime in soon though :poke:

I had mind lowered with an 8.5 in stretch, rubbed a whole in undertail when dynoed last winter. I even had the rear shock revalved and heavier spring added. If it were just me it would be fine, but even if only my 12 year old daughter was riding with it would rub on EVERY lil bump. I had it lowered 2 in rear and 1.5 in front, back to stock height now.

You can send us your shock and we can put in a 700,800 or 900lb spring and put a limiter in it that will limit the travel of the spring...call the shop 941-953-4423 and ask for Brad for pricing

I think a 700lb spring is fine...thata whats in mine and its stretched 7"...never had an undertail issue...even with a stripper on the back!!!
