Strange

I can start her just fine in nuetral then I put her in gear and she dies.
I did notice that when I turn her on in nuetral the fuel pumps revs up but if I turn her on when in gear the fuel pump does not rev up.
I startee her in nuetral and let her idle a bit then gave a couple of good twists on the throttle and she is back to normal.
anyone have any idea what problem I am/will be facing?

The kickstand is up. At regular idle and the temp was warm. I had just riden for a while and stopped for about 30 minutes.
