I have to admit, I do quite a bit of stop light drag racing so much in fact that I believe that I'm faster on the streets than I am on the track. The track just gives me too many things to worry about. Will I have traction (of course I will), pre stage, stage (shallow or deep), don't red light, don't F UP! in front of the crowd, don't move when he moves(he may be red lighting). It's all psycological for me. Next time I go to the track I'm just gonna leave when I'm ready, F the red light or my reaction time. I just wanna know how fast I can go when I have to.
When I race on the street all I'm thinking about is either moving when the light turns green or the other guy starts moving.
This past weekend 7 of us were at a light. The revs came up like the start of an F1 race. The light turned green and before I knew it I was hole shotting out in front. The guy next to me was fighting a wheelie, but he was trying to ride it out. I stretched him and grabbed second gear and from their it was history.
We ran it back at another light and this time I left really hard. Never saw anyone next to me. Yes I left on the green.
BUSA men gotta represent.
