Hello, I am asking all the people that added on a swing arm. I want to know how the bike handled after the addition and also how long. Thanks in advaced for the feed back, trying to keep the front end down and ad some speed

you will have to force it over a little more, it is a bit dampened..Unless u have a gixxer 750 and do crazy twisties with it on mountain roads you should be alright and happy..:)

By the way, its been awhile for me reading this website and I feel so bad for all the fallin riders, don't forget this can be anyone of us, b careful out there

a stretched bike is def gonna be harder to manuever than stock length. u def arent gonna be able to hammer the twisties with any kind of major stretch....

Does it have such a big diffrence that you don't drag your knee on corners, because that is where I am at and do not want to loose that feeling took me 2 hayabusa's to get here

Over 4 in. and it may be hard to drag knee on the Busa
I guess don't know cuz I can't drag knee on stock lenght
Busa.

think of a stretched busa as tryin to turn a 70 caddy deville versus stock length mazda miata..... which do u think is gonna turn and handle better???

if you've mastered the busa then just say no to the stretch. Unless you want to make it a cruiser, don't do it.

My earlier post told of my first ride today with 5" of new stretch.

Here's the details and observations:g
- unpowered parking "foot powered" turns = know what a 3 point turn is.
- Since I have been a cruiser guy... twisties MAY be less manageable for the aggressive rider.
- for wheelies: your probably done with that, but given the previous... I don't have business on a unicycle anyway.
- power straights: be prepared for power slides and rear end breakloose at a twist. Even jacking around in traffic, I broke the wheel loose several times. Turns also seem "loose".

thats all I have to say about that.

You can still rip up the turns but just not as easy and if you lower it you will scrap more ( my problem now ) . It handles well in town and everyday riding ( I ride everyday) and burnouts are so much easier ! Turning around in parking lots takes alot of room though.,

you're right about the burnouts!! Running about 85 yesterday and dropped it down and hit it, she started smoking the tire

I like my stretch rided versus stock. I went with straight 6 inch arm. It tracks a hell of a lot better than when stock and I hang the twisties better than some stockers and some curves in the triple digits . I rode some busas with 7" on out to 9" and they kind of suck because it does start to take a toll on curves and turning.

I don't know about how the stretch effects the handling, but a couple of the builders that were on that Metric Build Off show said that any tire wider than a 240 just ruins the handling of sport bikes. I tell you what they shore look good !!!
