Hi this may not apply to the hayabusa but when i had my gsxr600, Suzuki had a problem with the Secondary Throttle Valve Actuator going bad. Just wanted to know if the STVA was a problem on the hayabusa'a.

I know on the 600 some people bypassed them is there pro's and con's performance wise when bypassing it.

A good ecu flash has the stp's (secondary throttle plates) opening at their most efficient rate.
As well as stp fueling to 100%, every gear, every cell (not the air/fuel ratio, just using all of what's already available).
The opening rate is a copy/paste of 1st/5th to 2, 3, 4, and 6th.
Removing the plates results in sluggish low rpm power and throttle response, but better top end. Not worth doing.
I've never heard of the stp motor failing. Not to say it can't, but it would be uncommon.
The stp's as well as lower timing restrictions are there to help smooth the power delivery, and make the bike more tame for the masses.
Flash the ecu.

My ecu is flashed, just asked because with the earlier gsxr 600/750 this was a common problem that suzuki had. Just wondering if they got it right by now.

Turbocharge that beast and just remove those little buggers!!!! lol..
