Sunday Ride - 20 Tampa Area Riders

Good ride today. Well except for lunch taking 45 mins and the little bit of rain we hit.. no sweat tho..

Good idea....I'll be practicing my wheelies while you're gone, and soon I'll be blowing you away....give or take 10 years.
Where the hell were you Kev??? Somebody had a black and purple and thought they were the man today. I was waiting for you to show up and blow by him tooting your air horn.
 
All I have to say is The group of people I rode with, and the RIDE itself was the best part of the day.

First, my cell phone fell off (which I didnt find out until an hour later). Then I started smelling antifreeze everytime I stopped...thinking I hope thats not my bike. I watched the temp gauge and the temp never went up over 180 so I didnt think much about it. When we got to the HESS I looked underneath and sure as poop, there was a small pinhole where a rock or something hit it.

A few guys offered to get their trucks, etc.. But I decided to fill up what leaked out, and try and make it home. Diesel followed me back to make sure I made it.

Someone found my phone on the ground and called. I got the phone back, it had road rash, I guess I should have gotten gear for it.

Anyway, I dont know if this will work...but I got some JB weld. It says it will work on aluminum,....I guess I'll find out.

If not, I'll see if some radiator shop can close off that one row.

If that doesnt work...I guess Ill be watching EBAY.

My daughter tells me it sounds like a bicycle horn. Now I'm looking for a used air horn off a Mack truck. I should be able to rig it to the existing pump.

Is anybody up for a ride Saturday next weekend. I don't have any plans yet.

I heard it ring, I checked the clock... had to grin... Rolled back over and hugged the wife, slept till 11.

Went past the Marathon at about 1230, Hit Ehrens cutoff, the continued along some of the standard rds, deviating somewhat. Skipped the Hess, and instead went bombing down 75 at about 150 for about 8 minutes... Vroom Vroom, Traffic was light.... Had a good Solo ride, without having to sweat the pack... Different for a change of pace...
