Sunday ride to check out the Fischer MRX Bike

Well we went with our crew to see the Fischer MRX Bike that is being imported from the States for sale here and in New Zealand. It turned out that this bike was only the 6th bike built by them so they are new to the sports bike market. We did not get to test ride as they have not arranged any insurance to cover this as yet, the bike from all the pics we have seen suggested that it may have a few flaws in its design seeing it in the flesh this was vindicated. The bike sits high and is comfortable to sit on, BUT the fuel tank digs in to your midriff and if you lean down over the tank your arms hug the tank. They told us that they are changing the tank. The motor is from Hyosung its is the 650cc Here is a link to there site you can see all the specs there.Fischer Motor Company For my money I would stick to the GSXR 600 but good luck to them at least they are having a go.

Hi everyone.
Just wanted to thank all that made the effort to drop in at Canungra and have a first look at the MRX and for all the positive comments. Yes there were some negatives too but none that weren't expected (Tank / side stand)
I do hope to get this ADR compliance out of the way and be able to offer you guys a ride on this, as I think that you will be impressed with the way it handles. Sure its not got the power of the Supersport bikes but from my very much a novice viewpoint, the handling is as sweet as anything I have been on (including my 916 Senna)
I know that once I said good by to my kiwi friend and was able to take it for a decent spin, I came home with a very big grin on my face. The bike is an absolute hoot to ride.
