I have an 05, when I make a hard turn ,feels like the rear is coming around. It's not breaking free or anything but I can feel it . It makes me a little uneasy at times, is this normal on the Busa? The bike is lowered to middle hole on dogbone and about an 1 1/4 inch in front. I did the" jinkster "post recommendations (my body weight with gear on is the same as his) made it a little better. Any suggestions? Thanks

check your tire pressure , then check tire wear , if you have a nice flat strip from lots of highway miles , when you head into a turn in stead of the bike layin over its kinda riding on and off of the edge of the strip .

Tenbender,
As johnstein said check the tire wear. I ride 156 miles round trip to work everyday. If I stay on the interstate I get a nice flat spot that leaves my "strips" about 10 inches wide. Drop into a corner and it feels like the azz is shifting on you. It is the bike rolling across from the flat spot to the outside of the tire. Took me 3 weeks and 4 trips to the shop to figure that out. Now I take the old highway (no tunnel, 2 lane up thru the mountains) 3 out a 5 days I ride, keeps the tire nice and round. Not saying for sure that is your prob but something worth looking at. Let us know.

Thanks guys for the input , I was thinking it was the same thing. I was just wondering if it puts you in a dangerous situation when it comes around like that. Or is the traction still there, it still feels squirrley.( pressure is OK. ,There is a flat strip, don't know if its from highway or really getting on it...:)

I had the same thing on my SV.. it was the rear tire flatting from commuting. Try increasing your tire pressure 5 psi, and ride again. If reduced, you need a new tire.
