SUPER UGLY Knocking Noise, WTF?

I have an 01 Busa that has a pretty constant knocking noise coming from the front, it happens in neutral and all gears. But when i brake the noise
goes away. My fork seals are leaking but I believe its the brakes. Does anyone here have further insight on this issue? Thanks

Does the knocking rate change with speed or with bumps on the road? If your forks are leaking it is possible that the fork bushings are also worn to the point that they are allowing the lower tube to move in relation to the upper housing, making a clunking noise. To test this hold the front brake and rock the bike front to back. If the bushings are loose you will feel (and likely hear) the movement of the fork legs within the tubes.
