Im going with a longer arm (+8"–10") and am looking at setting up a +8" Supersport tail. What are you guys doing for subframe and undertail? I'm looking for something super deluxe to brace that tail and provide a place for me to mount electronics. Im also looking at some kind of quick-release fasteners and a tail light solution. I really don't need an OEM tail light back there taking up all that space, I'm wondering what I could do with a few LEDs for running light and a brake light with a quick disconnect for frequent on offs at the track.
I talked with DME this morning and they could build me something nice but they need the tail. Not sure how much sense it makes to ship the tail from Palm Beach all the way to DME than all the way back to me in Central Florida. What are you guys using?
