Suspension adjustments?

Dear friends,

I'm riding a 99 gen 1 busa.
Recently I placed a dog bone wich raised my rear end 1.10 inch (28 mm).
Now my bike turns in considerably better and my ground clearance is much beter.
But when I'm in fast corners (110 mph+) it begins to wobble.
Anyone got an idea how to solve this?

Best regards Joost from The Netherlands

Simple! The wobble in high speed corners is the cost of quick tip in.

You have two solutions. Lower the rear until the wobble goes away or buy an aftermarket adjustable triple tree so you can increase the trail.

Why does that happen?

What's an adjustable triple tree?

28mm is a lot especially since you didn't adjust the front as well. It's nice to have quicker turn in but you have to fine tune it to make it a little more civil all around. You need to raise the front a little to compensate for the rear. Not all of it just enough so you get the quicker turn in but good safe feel at high speeds. When it comes to suspension adjustments, what you do in the front or the rear will effect the other and necessitate some minor adjustments.

My only concerns too is if you are still using stock front forks and if any adjustments have been done. Also if you are 200lbs or more in weight your going to make it that much worse without aftermarket springs.
