How often do you change your preload? If I remember correctly, preload is just how low/high the bike sits, correct?
I'm looking at the Ohlins 46PRXLS, which has the remote reservoir. The remote controls preload, but I'm not sure how often I would mess with it. I was thinking that I would probably set it (after some fine-tuning), then leave it alone. The only settings I would change would be high/low-speed compression if I'm going to the track, or whatever.
Is this off-base? I really like the idea of 3-way adjustable suspension (on both front and back), but not sure what the REAL deal is. Is it just a marketing thing, or does it make a difference? I'd be really interested to hear from those that have 3-way in front AND rear (Ohlins, Penske, etc.).
If I want 3-way on the front, I'm assuming that I'll have to go with Ohlins which is $$$.
Thanks for the help.
