I haven't seen much talk about suspension setup for the Bus. May be getting into a black hole. At 2wf.com they listed some settings for hard riding for 175 lb rider. I weigh 165lbs and have mine at 4 lines showing on front preload. About 1inch of sag on the back preload. I'm at work so I don' have the sheet where I wrote the compression and rebound settings. May list them later if there is any interest. Most important was that from the dealer the rear sag was at most 1/2 inch and decreasing the prelaod in the back to get 1 inch of sag seems to have smoothed the back a ton and calmed down the front end through tight(30-40mph) turns. I was getting a lot of bucking from the back before.
Also I saw a gold Bus for sale on the floor at Aurora Suzuki in Seattle. Boy am I glad I got the black! On a downer note I got my first damage to my Bus. Crash? No way. Forgot the disk lock on the front and cracked the front fender. For the time being I'm going to live with it since it is barely noticeable. I also adjusted the shift lever down and haven't missed any 5-6th shifts after that. Got past 500 miles so have done a few full blast trips to 8000 rpm in the lower gears. Fantastic!
