The wife went by the stealership yesterday . They wanted $600 for the damn thing . She called me at work ....I couldn't believe it ! And they also wanted $90 for a maintenance manual !

I kind of hope something does tear up now ....at least I'll get some benefit from giving Suzuki a good bit of my savings .

Anyone else recieved this same size wennie ?

dicker with them, he should go down. I bought mine at the time of purchase in 03', paid $490 for it. I'm sure they still made a few hundred on me. 11700 miles and still haven't had to use it.....

Too late now , the little lady of mine , already coughed up the money to them , I was pissed !

HA! I got the same thing and definitely got my money out of it. I think I paid somewhere around $600 for it also, but after having the bike for 16 months THEY paid somewhere between $5k and $6k for parts & labor on a brand new engine. I'd say that I came out on top in that deal!

I think for most of us it's a waste of money to buy the extended warranty. It's rare any of us will actually cash in on the warranty insurance.

I have figured out I can trade my busa back to the dealership every 12 months and get a brand new one for $2,500. That's about two hundred a month it costs me for a new bike, always under warranty, never needs a new chain or brakes etc. I usually trade them in with little rubber left on the tires so I save the cost of the tires and any maintenence etc. So, in reality it probably cost me somewhere around $125 per month to keep a new bike under warranty in my garage all the time. For at least some of you, I think this approach may be worth looking into?

Be sure your printer is good and healthy before the downloading and printing the manual, 520 pages.....the office printer about blew, stunk for two days. Printed it at work, ha! MY way of sticking it to the man. Wait....................................I am the man. Damnit!

I have never printed it. I figured after paper,ink,electricity,printer wear n tear,my time...etc

that it would be cheaper to just buy the hard copy.

So...I just print the relevent page as required.

I dont usually print to much either,I bring my laptop home from work...and use it to view the manual in the shop AND get my keyboard all greasy...then my boss thinks I've been working really hard

That's why I like the CD, I don't have an internet connection in the garage. Just take the laptop out or print the pages I need and throw them away afterwards. Beats getting a hard copy dirty.
