Suzuki Gel Seat

Just put a deposit on a Blue/Silver Hayabusa. Looking forward to the new bike. The reason for my post is that I was wondering if anyone had any experence with the Suzuki Gel Seat. (Comfort , lower riding position, etc.). Thanks for any info.

I had one for my GSXR 750,and it worked great.I could ride 300+ miles ,and still be ready for more,and as far as looks I think it looks better than a saddle seat like corbin.I mean if you want a saddle go ride a horse.

I bought the gel seat from suzuki. The only real difference that I see is the looks. Other than the material they seem to be the same. It seems plenty comfortably enough but so was the stock seat.

I figure the ideal seat should have a little poop pocket in it because if you aren't poopin' your pants every time you get on your Busa, you're missing the whole point of having one.

Can you scoop a poop pocket into the gel, or does that jelly stuff just all flow in and go flat again?

The factory foam job holds the poop pocket shape perfectly no matter how bad you poop your leathers.

I didn't like mine cause it holds heat way too long. Takes forever for the damn thing to cool off after being in the sun for thirty minutes. And riding on a seat that is 160 degrees is NOT fun.

Buffalo, someone asked me that just yesterday if the sun would heat up the seat. Maybe the carbon look material is so the egg won't stick.

I have the gel seat from Suzuki and I like it because I can go on a longer ride with it and it looks better than the stock seat on my black gray Busa. The stock seat was good but because the Busa dosen't need any mods to be a great bike I can't leave well enough alone I had to buy something so I bought the gel seat.I guess it's an owners choice thing.Plus it was real easy to put on. It's not big money so I try it.

I just took my bike out for the first extended ride since getting the gell seat. While the stock seat is way more comfortable than that of a XX or ZX-11, I wasn't as stiff in the seat area as with the stock seat. Now I just need to lower the pegs a little bit so my legs don't cramp up as bad.

DON'T Buy It !!! I'll give you mine for a couple cartons of cigs . A SHEET OF PLYWOOD WOULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE. Made the mistake of going two hours out , and couldn't sit for the rest of the day . Stock seat can't be beat .
