Suzuki-made Hayabusa Tank Bags

In the spirit of warning folks out there about things they might not expect, I wanted to share my experience from picking up my Suzuki brand "Copper/Silver" tank bag from the dealer today.

Its not a bad tank bag, but -- Yuk! -- the color is a greenish-gold, not a match to the bike _at_all_. Yuk again.

Also, in Suzuki's wisdom, they apparently didn't think at all about how the front strap gets mounted -- after looking at it for a while, I finally ended up pivoting up the tank and putting the little loop at the end of the strap around one of the tank hold-down screw ears. Of course, there's no illustration of what you are _supposed_ to strap it to provided in the bag -- maybe I'm just missing it. Suggestions, anyone?

All that said, it seems like a nice enough tank bag, and it does have the Hayabusa ideogram on the side.

I got the same opinion, who was the color blind purchaseing agent that O.K.ed the fabric color. I thought about trying to return it and get a black one.
Good news Bagster makes an awsome full tank cover-got it yesterday, great fit and great color match. This product makes the Suzuki and the Second Look covers a nice try at protecting your paint. Bagster also offers a complete line of bags that attach to the tank cover. Go to a BMW dealer to see the quality I am talking about.
