I did and intake for exhaust swap on my bike and it feels strong...I had read a bit of info that led me to believe that this would be a wasted effort...That with a turbo application and lowered compression you were destined to lag in the lower rpms...My build on the other hand feels great even in the lower rpms...

I went with Carpenter custom grind webs and a few other things. Im happy now. around 22O on motor.

BECAUSE OF A TIGHT BUDGET I HAVE TO STAY OUT OF THE MOTOR BUT IM HOPING WITH AN EXHAUST CAM ON THE INTAKE SIDE, WITH SLOTED CAM GEARS FOR DEGREEING, AIRBOX MODS AND A POWER COMMANDER MIGHT GET ME INTO THE MID 170`S LOW 180`S AT THE THE REAR WHEEL. WHATS BETTER A STOCK EXHAUST CAM OR AFTER MARKETAND CAN YA BUY THE CAMS ONE AT A TIME

You can't put an exhaust cam on the intake side - you want to put an intake cam on the exhaust side with adjustable sprockets. With a good pipe and good tuning you can get 180rwhp...

Good catch and your right on...Listen to this man...Intake on exhaust side...And yes you can buy a single cam and get the adjustable sprockets...

I have a set of stock cams that I offered in the For Sale section........less than 2K miles on them. PM me if you are interested

If you have a TURBO, you don't want to do that. I would talk to Dennis about a TURBO cam application but pretty much what I have read is the stockers are the best bet for a basic 300HP or less TURBO bike....

That's true if your not lowering the compression...In most applications if you lower the compression you low power down low...I took a change on the cams and it worked no power loss at all...
