swingarm extensions

hello everyone! I just have one question. My buddy has a 03 gsxr 1000. He has decided to take off his swingawm extensions and lowering link off. He said he was just going to give them to me. Will these work on my 05 busa?

03-04 1000 same ad 08-11 busa

even this interchange might not work with some manufacturers.

Looks like you are out of luck, but it might be easy to find someone with an 08-up to trade if these will in fact fit the Gen II bikes.

awesome, i just called him again, he said his is actually a 2001, so it may actually work. Thanks for the help, anyone know about the lowering link?

Doesnt work with ours....the 08 is an animal all its own. The older GSXRS are the same as the GenI Busa with exception for the brake caliper hanger. The diameter of the rear rotor is different which means either use a different hanger or switch rotors.

I hope you plan to drag race the bike or just make appearances with your bike lowered/stretched. Extentions = less handling. Good for the straight-liner though.

bull hockey! Unless you plan on dragging knee your bike will handle fine.
