When weather breaks i'll be switchin swingarms to an 06 LE black. Anyone out there with a swingarm socket wanna loan one they've got for a lil bit?
 
yeah but not till spring since its all white here man and she's "hibernating" for a couple more months
 
can any one tell me what i need to remove the bolt holding the swingarm in i took both nuts off on both sides and it will not come out can any one help

the swingarm it self i got nuts off but the shaft will not come out of the swing arm through the frame

The swing arm has a nut on the one end that takes a special tool.
You can make one by grinding down a socket to have the 4 pins left to fit that nut. (look at the pic and see what size is for the swing arm by matching one of them to the nut. I forget which one it is)
Then the swing arm shaft has to be unscrewed using a 6 sided tool.
(A 5/8 redi rod coupler will work if you don't want to buy the real tool)

I guess what i'm sketchy bout is why the other end needs the coupler. Maybe i'd understand if I could go look at my bike lol
