Well since everyone was having a hard time finding sockets the fit correctly, i have come up with a solution.

They can be purchased along with your bulbs from Autolumination!
The part number is 62-30 and can be found at the bottom of this page,
Under this listing Bayonet Pigtail Pigtail Socket Receptacles,
Here is the link to the page,

Now the first thing is to remove the front turnsignal socket from the bike.

Next find a socket that the housing fits into, see pic,

Next you need to push out the original socket, see pic

Then remove the ground wire and turn signal plug from the housing,

Next you need to get a slightly larger piece of wire, due to that the replacement sockets are a little smaller!

18ga, will do, then strip the wire about 3/4 of an inch and tin with a soldering iron about 5/8 of an inch

Next fold over the soldered end, and slide into the socket

Next install the new socket

Then press into place!

The wiring, now is simple, the green wire is your turn signal, and the red will be your running light!

hmm if it takes more than a chainsaw and a fireaxe... I will let you do them for me..

Just a quick update, been searching all morning for 1157 sockets ( advance, auto zone, oriellys.. ) and finally found what I needed at napa. PN - LS6253. It only requires that one of the twist locks be cut off flush and one sliced in half. I should have took pics but I was so excited to get them in.. lol. Hope this can help you guys out!

man this is wonderfull. 6 years later to see my posts redone over again. Funny how these thinks keep coming back round.

Tower LED's still havent changed either.
