As you know there's been an on going discussion about Sylvio at Allied Barter. Got my tail and hugger today, the 7-10 days turned out to be 17 days, but other than that all is good. It was delivered direct from Extreme Graphics just like Sylvio said. The paint match ( 03 copper/orange) is a good match, but it looks like there's specks of dirt ot something in the paint. It's nothing major, something the average Joe might overlook, but I'm overly picky. Anyways, once on the bike, with the little bit of the tail that is actually seen, I don't think the minor dirt specks will hurt. So looks like I have an install to do. Just thought I'd keep ya updated. In the end, seems BulletTrain got the better deal and service through Second-Look, though we have no idea what their paint skills are.

As for paint quality, I'm thinkin' that Extreme Graphics actually does all the painting of the undertails that are sold by most of the resellers. Not 100% sure, but I think that's how it works.

If Second Look has the painting done elsewhere or does it themselves, you're right, we don't know what the quality would be. You can rest assured though that the one I got from Second Look will have nothin' but the best quality workmanship and materials.
