How is everyone powering the Synergy jackets. The supplied lead isn't long enough go from the Battery, out under the notch in the hump and reach the rider. If you're using the supplied lead, where do you run it and how/where do you store it when not in use?

I have a powerlet by the gauges but would like to avoid buying the adapters required to use that connection if possible. Although that would be the best/cleanest option.

I was leaning towards an SAE extension off the battery tender lead with a coax adapter, but am open to suggestions. :please :

I am going to be trying to figure out same after Christmas as this is what I'm getting.

I just ordered a fuseblock from Pashnit and am going to rewire my bike to use it. So we'll see.

I have a tank bra that protects the tank, so my battery harness comes out the front of the seat. Then I clip the controller to the tank bag and plug the jacket and gloves leads in there. Having the controller on the tank bag is really nice compared to in my pocket - makes adjustments very easy. This is for a Warm & Safe (First Gear) setup.

Mine runs from the battery and out to the left side under the notch in the hump and it's long enough for me. I'm not sure why yours is not long enough.

I just remembered, here's a pic of where the wire comes out. You can see how long the cord is.

I have mine routed under the seat and exiting from between front left corner between seat and tank. While back the connection went bad so i spliced in a coiled harness so when not in use it doesn't hang down. Sorry no pics bikes in CA and I'm in Afghanistan for 30 more hours.

Um......what's 'heated gear' mean ?
Jacket with a gun ?

Sorry the Floridian couldn't resist :)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread .

Thanks for the tips.

Sleepless, you have it routed like I want to do. I'll have to try it this weekend. Hopefully I misjudged the length of the lead.
