Tail cover question

Hello everyone, just picked up a 2012 Haybusa and put the tail cover on today. Have a dumb question but bear with me. The instructions in the manual say to remove the grab bar and insert the two washers that come with the tail cover and put the cover in place. My question is although the owners manual does not say it, do the four bolts that came out with the grab bar get bolted back in place and if not, why do the other two washer get put in place as they seem like they could fall out as they fit very loosely. Thanks for your help in advance.

I put the bolts back in, but I've seen plenty of peeps riding around without those bolts in..

I put the bolts back - it helps keep the tail section secure.

We just call it the hump. Might help if you do a search on it. Anyway, I think I put two maybe four back in.
