I think a lot of you might find the Busa uncomfortable on long trips is because you have short legs or short arms and its more of a strain on your back to reach the handle bars.
It really helps if your at least 6' or over and have longer arms.

I wonder what size they acually use as a standard height when dealing with ergonomics when designing a bike .

.....5'3" tops, yet quite comfortable on long trips. I do agree with the added strain on the back due to a longer reach and have felt it from time to time. Lowered my bike 2" last year and that has helped.

The deciding factor here is how much CUSHION you have up front.

Your arms must be long enough to reach past your belly to the bars.

. and then the belly becomes like a pillow you can relieve your back with.

I admit I lay on my tank on long rides and it takes that ache I get between my shoulder blades away.

Oh yeah I am 5'8.

Maybe that is why the bike feels better after I quit smoking, I gained weight!

boy I don't know.... I'm 6'1" and my long legs are KILLING me every hundred miles or so. I'm talking 8-12 hours rides though. I assumed shorter would be less painful rather than have your legs all bent up like this. I have factory stock pegs though
