For you guys that already have the mook, what do you think of the A-Tech bodywork ? This is what I am getting for my busa to give it a change of clothes.

DaZee,A-Tech looks great!
do you know what the weight savings will be?
damn i'm jealous, how much is it for the works?

These A-Tech guys are great ! They don't actually have a full catalog yet, but I received a full price list of the parts available in FRP, CARBON and C/K. Will post the full list as soon as I finish translating it. They also sent some nice photographs of their bike with full and half body kits. Will have them scanned tonight.

Excuse my ignorance, what is FRP and C/K ??

DaZee are you going for the full or half fairing?

Do any of the people at A-tech speak english, if so who and what is their email?

What is their lead time or is product in stock?

If Hayabusa are rare imports in Japan where do they sell their product line?

Just ordered my Tatsumi Mook-Hayabusa, and was told that it should be here in 2-4 weeks. It's an incredible book, great for coffee tables or whatever. I'd like to hear from the guys who have the book. Drop your comments and tell me what you think.

So many questions !
I'll be going for the full fairing, I'm not keep on how the half fairing looks, basically I wanted a complete new set of body panels to get custom painted while retaining the old panels as spares/fashion changes. Getting carbon is my contribution to making the bike lighter and more durable.
Don't know if they speak English, one of my staff talks to them for me, no Email address that I know of.
When my oder is sent off I should get the lead-time. I think it should be 7-10days even if they need to construct upon order. This is what Kenz sports gave me for the carbon/chitan screen.
They run adds in the bike mags here and order via phone/fax.

I will try and visit them at the end of the month when I go to Osaka. Will try and get pictures then of all the parts for the busa.

until then
http://www.dazee.net/bikes/a-tech.htm
is a quick list of the parts and prices. I'll update this later with the pictures they sent me.

Dazee, could you "describe" the half-fairing, maybe in relation to what I indicated on that pic on the other site with regards to from where I'd cut the stock fairing?
Would be much obliged.
Still trying to find out if/how I can get that book over here in my country.

Animal think of a 98 Ducati SS
There were two offerings, full fairing and half fairing.

The A-Tech stuff looks similar in style, not much like a Busa with out sides.

Go to dazees site and look for the Tatsumi book photos, there are two black and yellow busa's one is fully faired and the other is the half fairing you are looking for.

They also offer a carbon cover to hide the coolant reservoir when running a NAKED bike.

Thanks KawAbuser, found the stuff on Dazee's site in the mean time, and quite like that 1/2 fairing.
BTW, saw the ROCA Busa fairing with my own eyes and up close and wasn't too impressed with the detailing. BTW2, it didn't have any connectors between the fairing "ram-air" inlets and the holes in the frame!
