2003/5400 Miles
Duration: 20 Minutes
First impression was I would not really need it since my miles are so low. Wrong! I was just doing it to become familiar with the bike and get ready for another dyno run.
While I was there, I cleaned the inside of the bodies at the butterfly as some carbon had built up. I also changed the spark plugs (thread posted with plugs showing lean A/F before my tune by JC).
Followed jinksters thread on the subject with a couple exceptions... left the IAP sensor plugged in as you will see in the pics. Also, did not have to slice the hose off... I left them on and just used a connector/restrictor supplied with the sync tool. Had to keep idle above 1500 or bike would die as he describes but left it connected anyway.
Wish I had a vid of my idle before the sync but she use to fluctuate about from 1200-1400 rpm. Now as you can see she purrs like a kitten.

Get ready Texas boys because your going to enjoy the ride home after this adjustment!
Special thanks to phycobusa for donating the tool for the Meet & Greet this Sunday.
