TB Syncd Still Bad Gas Milleage

So paid 225, got her fully checked and ran diagnostic.. found two problem.. was sucking air through air box link and tb's werent syncd.. got that done and still getting 25.5 - 28.00mpg cty/hwy .... i changed plugs 1 month ago and found her runing rich.. have a doubt that previous owner had a power commander ( when i got it from dealer it ddnt )... if you take pc off.. does that affect gas mlg or performance at all or the stock map goes back to default in ecu?

How do you ride? - If you always have the engine running at high rpm's, I would expect that sort of gas mileage. I'm pretty sure I get the same sort of result if I ride around all day in 3rd gear, at 9,000 rpm.
Let's face it: you don't buy a Busa for fuel economy!

I ride it pretty calm.. nuthin over 3-5k rpms... i know its not for fuel economy but still...

Yeah, that does sound like you have a problem.

I get 28mpg on base but the speed limit isn't above 35... off base city I get 40mpg

Does it have an aftermarket exhaust or other performance mods?
