Okay here is where I am at. After getting everyones feedback on a backfiring issue my question is this. I don't really care about doing the PAIR valve removal at least for the time being. SOOOOO if I do the marble mod would that be a TOTALLY for sure way to bypass the PAIRS and cease the backfiring? Just looking for some feedback from those of you that have done it. Appreciate all comments.

Yes, it will effectively eliminate the air being introduced to your exhuast. By blocking off the hose you are plugging the air intake for the valve. Removing the pair sytem altogether simply gets rid of clutter and saves you a bit of weight.

i did this, and its seems to have cleared up the problem. DO IT!
