Temperature Gauge Problem

So my temperature gauge calibrates then goes up but does not go down after the fuel pump primes. The light does not come on. Is there a way to reset the gauges?

Maybe disconnect the battery to reset? ???

I found a thread to reset the gauges. I thought i did it properly the first time when i reset them. I will have to try again in a bit to reconfirm. Raining pretty good right now. The temp light does not come on and I did not remove my needles... I dont know why its doing it. I check to see if its shorted by anything and nothing. I have a spare temp gauge i can solder on maybe tonight or tomorrow to see if it is the gauge itself...

Ok i take thi back. Its not a temp gauge poblem. My CHEC never goes away on my gauge cluster... no FI light just CHEC on the cluster... bike starts and runs fine...

problem with the sensor perhaps? loose wire/plug?
